  20. I have a problem with the unixlogin
  21. script.  I'm trying to invoke it from
  22. a script, and sometimes it works, but
  23. sometime it fails with:

  25.  No password prompt

  27. If I leave off the password, and I'm
  28. prompted for it, it always seems to work.
  29.  
  30. I'm using the Standard C-Kermit initialization
  31. file for C-Kermit Version: 5A(190).  I'm trying
  32. to login to a Sun from a DEC Alpha running VMS
  33. through a Microcom modem at 38400.  I believe it
  34. works better at slower speeds, but who wants to
  35. run at slower speeds?

  37. I'm sure it's me, but I tried checking the configuration
  38. as much as I can and I'm at a loss.  The fact that it
  39. sometimes works seems odd.
